Real Housewives of Dallas will not Return in 2022

The Real Housewives of Dallas is on hiatus and will not return with a new season for 2022.

The Real Housewives of Dallas will not come back to our TVs for at least a year. The ninth installment to the housewives franchise is confirmed to not return for its 6th season that was supposed to air in 2022. Even after the year long hiatus, the future of The Real Housewives of Dallas remains uncertain.

In a statement to E! News, Bravo confirms the news of The Real Housewives of Dallas going on a hiatus.

"There are currently no plans to bring The Real Housewives of Dallas back next year, and beyond that nothing official has been decided" -Bravo Spokesperson via E! News

While there series has not been officially cancelled by Bravo, it is unlikely the ladies of Dallas will be making a comeback after 2022. As fans may remember, The Real Housewives of Miami, which ran from 2011-2013, remained cancelled for eight years before recently receiving a fourth season on the NBC Universal streaming service Peacock. Even though season 6 of The Real Housewives of Dallas could eventually return to our screens, it likely will not happen, at least for a while.

The news of the hiatus comes after season 5 concluded in May 2021 with the two-part reunion. After the reunion, cast members Tiffany Moon and Kameron Westcott continued their season 5 feud through Twitter. Bravo released a statement in May 2021 in support of Moon following controversial tweets Moon received from Westcott and Westcott's family.

Headlines of the hiatus also comes after rumors on social media suggested that only three cast members from the most previous season, season 5, would return for season 6. These rumors have since turned out to be not true with production being on pause.
