Kandi Burruss Exits "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Ahead of Season 16

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss has officially left the show ahead of the 16th season. Burruss starred on the show for 14 seasons, making her debut back in season 2.

She confirmed her departure to Variety during an interview at the 2024 Grammys red carpet stating, "I’m going to take a break, I’m going to take a moment. I’m not coming back this year.”

The news of Burruss' exit from the show comes after multiple reports that season 16 will feature a cast shake-up after fan reaction to season 15, which finished airing in September 2023.
